In the summer of 2018 football fever hit the UK with the 2018 Men's FIFA World Cup. During the competition, we saw a rise in female pundits and commentators that triggered an important conversation on Twitter about gender equality in football.

Looking forward to the 2019 Women’s World Cup & to celebrate #WomenInFootball as one the fastest growing trends in equality conversation we aimed to unite the range of voices through Twitter, celebrating their journeys yet reminding everyone how far there is to go.
