The LEGO® Adults Welcome collection is a range of sets designed specifically for adults. Known for having a calming and relaxing effect, playing with the collection is seen to offer a number mental health benefits for adults, such as helping grown-ups destress and unplug from everyday life.

To help promote the collection we joined palms with The LEGO® Group to bring you Inner Piece - a serene space to find your happy place. Here you could switch off and get hands-on with our meditative flower-making workshop, add your LEGO® creations into our Inner Piece Dreamscape, or visualise your own Happy Place in our LEGO® printing sessions, hosted by printmaker Laurie Avon.

The campaign kicked off with an launch article on itsnicethat.com. In interviews with play researcher, Emma Worrollo, and Neuroscientist, Stuart Brown, we explored how play and experimentation unlock inner calm before opening up the doors to a pop-up experience in Central London.

Arriving at the Inner Piece pop-up transported guests from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to a calm, and tranquil Happy Place. At the space you could; Jump into art-maker Maria Medem’s Inner Piece Dreamscape - a giangatic mural and rainbow cornucopia of brick-built floral pieces.  Add your own LEGO® creations to the scene with our Meditative Flower Workshop, or join our Happy Place Printing press to create your own handmade LEGO® prints in our hypnotic art space.

To stir the creativity, we planted some floral prompts in people’s minds: Like the Hyasynth, an Eighties flower that emits waves of soothing electro-pop. The Bellflower, a bloom that shimmers in your mind like a wind-chime. Or the Glowing Nightshade, a flower with a gentle dimmer that switches on when you need switching off.
