Dating Twitter

On Valentine’s Day the media bombard us with starry-eyed stories of romance and unsolicited advice for making your evening special, but we know that the most authentic dating conversations don’t happen on February 14th. They happen every day on Twitter. So we decided to use Valentine’s Day 2020 to remind the world that Twitter is the home of frank, unfiltered conversations and to present a more realistic view of the world of dating.

As people’s expectations of Valentine’s Day hit their usual heights, we gave them the perfect antidote: the Dating Twitter Advice Bureau, a pop-up Pick ‘n’ Mix of dating tips and installations, a video full of "helpful" dating tips from comedian & self proclaimed "dating champ", Phil Wang, alongside an out of home media takeover - celebrating Twitter-users’ funniest Tweets about love and dating.

"Considering that the city is coated in ads for pristine rose bouquets and heart-shaped chocolates right now, the tweets are an antidote to the saccharine sappiness of, well, corporate capitalist love."
